    Present prefect or simple past?

A group of friends welcomed a friend who she was going to come back to Hong Kong. She posted her flight information in the facebook before she came.

Before she left, I told her I will escorted her to airport and I had already marked down her flight information.

And I told her, I have marked the flight information.

Which tense should I use and is more nature in this case? Present prefect or simple past?
I am fond of learning English!

"I have made a note of the flight information" is more natural.

Dawn, please note that a better title would have been I marked/have marked.

    Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'

Like bhaisahab, I find the use of "marked [down]" unnatural in this context.

I have written down your flight information.
I have noted down your flight information.
I have made a note of your flight information.

Please see the other corrections I have made to your post in red.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
