    5 or 6 days

    Hi guys,

There is a guy who has been coming in my gym for 5 or 6 days. He used to come earlier too but he is not regular but he lifted(somehow not properly) sixty kgs on bench press. So can I say "I wasn't able to lift this much weight when it had been 5 or 6 days to me here" or "when I was 5 or 6 days old in the gym"?

After only five or six days at the gym.
After going to the gym for only five or six days.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

tufguy, for second time, write numerals under 10 as words — like Barb did.
