    It could be a simple question or it could be somewhat rude.

    Simple question: The street sign says Broadway. Where do you think we are?
    Rude: (two people in a very nice bar/restaurant) "You are acting like an idiot. Where do you think we are?"

    You heard it in a movie.. Your original was not grammatical.
