    A gramma question

    Dear,

I would like to know which of the following sentences is grammatically correct? I wonder the underlined word should match the word "advised" to become "sent" or to match the word "forward" to become "send" in present term. Is it OK if I remove the word "then" since it is understood?
    Thank you.

    1. To work out the problem, we advised the user to forward that email and then send for printing.

    Re: A gramma question

In either case, it should be "send". It is linked to "we advised the user to" which is followed by the infinitive. You also need to add "it".

To solve the problem, we advised the user to forward the email and then send it for printing.

Note the correct spelling of "grammar" (you mis-spelt it in your title).
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
