I copied the sentence from CNN's website as below:
"We're really sick and tired of being delayed," Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe spokesman Michael Bociurkiw told CNN's "New Day."

Can't understand the words or sentence of underlinded in red.

They are fed up/They have had enough of the rebels delaying their entry to the crash site. (Even without the full quote or a link, I know this is from the Ukrainian aeroplane crash story.)

Sick and tired = fed up
Being delayed = having to wait to do something they want to do now.

Let me express in my language after reading your post or comment.|
They want to do something, but they fed up?
They are standing in the entry of the crash site?

***** NOT A TEACHER *****

Hello, Polyester:

I have been watching CNN on television (not its website), so I THINK I understand what the gentleman was referring to.

As you know, forum rules prohibit us members from saying anything that is politically controversial, so please excuse me if I am very general in my answer.

1. Recently an airplane crashed in a certain country.

2. Investigators have gone to the crash scene to collect the bodies and to collect parts of the airplane in the open fields.

3. Some people in the area have told the investigators that they may not search certain areas or that they have to wait for certain hours or maybe wait another day.

4. So -- in my opinion -- he is saying that he is disappointed that his investigators have to wait for permission from certain people to search the area thoroughly. Those waits are making it difficult to collect items quickly and efficiently.

5. His sentence, I believe, means something like: "We are tired of (our) being delayed [forced to wait, to be late] in doing our job."

I'm sure you will have seen in post #2 that I already stated what story this relates to. It's not politically controversial to say that a plane came down in Ukraine.

But it is controversial to say who is responsible for what. I think TP's account was good (as was yours :)), except I'd make #2 'Investigators have gone to the area and have had difficulty getting to the scene of the crash...'

It's not even highlighted in red. It's simply in red. It's definitely not underlined.

I've been trying to put an example of highlighted text in here but it's not an option from the toolbar and it won't let me post the HTML for it either. Look just under the image HERE for an example of highlighted text.

Polyester, please note that a better title for this thread would have been 'being delayed', as that is the phrase you are asking about.

It looks like 'highlighted in red' instead of 'underlined in red'.

Not a teacher.

Thank you your remind!
I will change it if i have free time.
