    I need a help

    Hello teachers!
    I need a help.
Question is this: "Do they have grandmother?"
And answer is "Yes, they do."
    Why answer is this?
Could it be "Yes, they have" instead of "Yes, they do"?.
    I don't understand.
    Thank you.

Yes, both are correct. You need an article before "grandmother".

Usually, when "do" is the auxiliary verb that starts a question, do is repeated in the answer. But I agree, with bhai that "have" is possible.

You need help - not a help.

(the question mark is the only closing punctuation mark required)

Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
