What is the difference between minimum and minimal? Where and when would you use these words?
Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. :hi:

Have you checked both in a dictionary? What differences did you find? Try using them in a couple of sentences and we will see how well you're doing with them.

Sophie, please note that a better thread title would have been 'minimum and minimal', as these are the words you are asking about.

Thank you and hello,
According to my dictionary (a hard copy), minimum - smallest possible and minimal - very small, least possible.
Still not sure?
Can you recommend a good website to look at rather using a hard copy?
Thank you.
