    As well as

    Respected Teachers,

Which one of the following is correct

She draws as well as designing clothes.

She draws as well as designs clothes.
I read on a facebook forum that the first one is correct. But I am confused. To me, the second one is correct.

    Re: As well as

The second one is definitely correct. If you change the word order, the verb forms in the first can be used: "As well as designing clothes, she draws". However, this means she has two hobbies/talents - designing clothes and drawing. "She draws as well as designs clothes" is ambiguous. It could mean "She draws. She also designs clothes" or it could mean "She draws clothes and designs them".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
