Little or small? What's the different? What is the correct way to use them?
I am not a teacher.
You need to look them up in a good dictionary and study their usage.
'Little' has an adverbial function that 'small' lacks. 'Small' is also a noun and 'little' isn't.
As adjectives they are often, but not always, interchangeable. There are instances where one or the other is the only correct choice. My little sister, a small amount, the small of your back. It will take time to assimilate all that. Good luck!
