How do you say "I'm very tired" in German?
How do you say "cat" in French?
How do you say "nos vemos" in English?
Can they be rewritten as below?
What is the German sentence for 'I'm very tired'?
What is the French word for 'cat'?
What is the English expression for 'nos vemos'?

Your second and third examples work. For your first, I would omit "sentence" because it sounds unnatural. "What is the German for 'I'm very tired'?" (In 2 and 3, you could omit "word" and "expression" and they would still be perfectly grammatical.)
