    Placed In Contract

Suppose a contract contains some clauses (terms):

    1. "They put another clause in the contract."
    2. "They placed another clause in the contract."

The first sentence using "put" seems to be standard English. But is the second sentence using "place" okay too?

    Re: Placed In Contract

Or "They added another clause to the contract".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
