    Regarding use of article "the" ,which of the following sentence is correct?

    The teacher drew the attention of the boys of the class.
    The teacher drew the attention of boys of the class.
    The teacher drew the attention of boys of class.

    Please provide a little explanation to the answer also.

    The third is incorrect. The noun "class" needs an article before it.

    The first two are OK, but I would use "in" instead of "of".
