Out of the two idioms which is grammatically correct ?
eat a humble pie
eat humble pie
Sentence improvement question:-even though out team took the field with great confidence, the opposition made them eat the humble pie.
a:-a humble pie
b:-humble pie
c:-humble pies
d:-no improvement
however the answer to this question is a (provided in the book) but when I searched internet for idioms ,everywhere I fould eat humble pie instead of a humble pie.
So what should be the right answer ?
Please provide a little explanation also.
