    members to our family,

The last sentence on the following webpage says: We also have two other members to our family, our German Shepherd "Bristol" and our Cat "Kenai".
Is it a typo? Or can the preposition to also be used as well as in?

    Re: members to our family,

Uh-huh. There also shouldn't be quotation marks around the pets' names. I'm sure she's a great realtor and wonderful mom, but the whole page is full or errors. For instance, she loves capital letters and will put them in front of anything. And she doesn't know what to do with commas. She should come here.

    Your English writing is better.

    Re: members to our family,

And in this file (if you manage to download it) the speaker also says "to our family". I've come across this use of to instead of in a couple of times. Can it be some local variety?

    Re: members to our family,

One could say "we have added two members to our family, a dog and a cat".
