    I'm going back in/ inside

    Hello!

If I am with another person outside a building, but I want to go back into that building, can I say the following sentences?

    1) I'm going back in.
    2) I'm going back inside.

or should I say: "I'll go back in", "I'll go back inside" to emphasize my sudden decision?

-Do "go back in" and "go back inside" have the same meaning?

All your sentences are correct and have more or less the same meaning. None of them emphasises a sudden decision.

Right. And here's a quick note:

Notice that emphasize is American English and emphasise is British English. The British suffix -ise equals the American suffix -ize.

Be consistent about which form of English you're using.
