    Can we use the word "readoptation" in an academic writing? For example, After a long holiday, readoptation to normals would be difficult.

    If you mean 'readaptation', you could say 'After a long holiday, readapting to normality would be difficult'.

    It's 'readoption'.

    Make sure you understand the difference between adopt and adapt.
