My concentration has been getting worse

    Hi,
I'm watching a lot of movies and TV shows with English subtitles.
Two months ago, I understood very well the little sentences like "you're right", "there you are", "it's good to see you" and so on.
I have not a lot of difficulties for understand a book. But I have for understand someone who's talking. And it's worse when the sentence is long.
I lose the sense of the sentence, because they are too words in it.
Sometimes I understand different long sentences when I'm concentrated. But I think that i begin now to lose my concentration! It happens that I don't understand something that I understood before...
Then it's a storm of words in my head. I begin to dream in English sometimes.
I begin also to wonder if I should watch a movie with his subtitles. Because I have not always the time for read it. I can't read something fast in English. But the problem is that I understand very well when I have the time for read it.

Should I make a pause for each sentence, then listen this one again?
Am I in the good way for understand movies, or should I make a break for a moment? Because I'm frustrated when I don't understand someone's talking whereas I know the words...

And something that I find weird, is that I always understand the last word of a sentence, always...

    Thank you. :)

Re: My concentration has been getting worse

Before we attempt to answer your question, please click on "Edit Post" and capitalise every "I" (first person singular) in your post, then click Save. It is an important part of written English. We capitalise the word "I" regardless of where it appears in a sentence. Thank you.

Also, we don't put a space before a question mark or an exclamation mark. Please edit that at the same time.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
