Is there a proverb or saying in English which has the same meaning as "Our shortcomings are the continuation of our strengths"?
In my language we say it to show that different personality traits can be looked upon from different points of view. If you think someone is stubborn it may be "the continuation" of his persistency.

If I were a native speaker of English, I would never shut up. :-)
Well, I am obsessive-compulsive. That means that I get on this site and answer questions until there are no more questions. Or that when I am reading something I want to fix all the mistakes.
I suppose there is a fine line between persistence and stubbornness. Interesting question.
