    I dislike answering/to answer such questions.

    I dislike answering/to answer such questions.
    Should we use the infinitive or ing-form? Will the ing-form be wrong because it implies liking the very process of "answering questions" which is odd?
    If I were a native speaker of English, I would never shut up. :-)

    Only the gerund (-ing form) works there.
