    Question Seeking an english idiom

There is a portuguese idiom refering to unconditional loyalty, availabilty to follow someone to the end of the world regardless the implying sacrifice, etc ("Amor de co"), which virtually means "The love of a dog". Is there a corresponding english idiom?

    Regards,

    Re: Seeking an english idiom

    That should be:

the willingness to follow someone to the end of the world and make any sacrifice....

(A dog is man's best friend?)

    Re: Seeking an english idiom

    Finally:

The phrase "implying sacrifice" should be changed by deleting "implying" and saying (perhaps): and the willingness to follow someone to the end of the world and do anything that might be asked of him.

In any case, do not use "implying sacrifice".
