    Here is the right way to say this: What is the most beautiful place you have ever visited?
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Even if you change this to most beautiful, it is still wrong. The question you're asking is What is the most beautiful place, so you should not invert the second verb.
