    Why are you disn' me?

In many Korean TV shows, we can hear "dis" from entertainers to mean "to criticize someone". Is "dis" an abbreviation of "disrespect"?
Also, can you say like this? or "Why do you dis me?"

    ex)Why are you disn' me?

Re: Why are you disn' me?

Yes — it's an abbreviation for 'disrespect' and usually spelt with a double s.

    "Why do you diss me?"

    "Why are you dissin' me?"
