    Hello All,
That excerpt from the book "Reading Inside 2":
from the "Such movement is possible ..." until "called the core" explain the reason of the movement of plate.
But I don't understand that section.
I think as the below, Do you think it is correct?!and which one is correct ?(A) or (B)
    A
"Plates float on mantle, and mantle are rock which molten , and then mantle situated between earth outer crust (which is solid) and planet 's core"

    or
    B
"Plates float on mantle, and mantle are rock which molten , and then mantle situated between earth outer crust (which is solid) and mantle's core"

    which one is correct?!
On the above section that I mentioned , planet and earth is equal?!!

    A.

Yes, the "planet" is the Earth (capitalized).

The plates float on the mantle, which is rock which is molten. (Or "is molten rock.") The mantle is situated between the Earth's outer crust and its core.

    Re: Pieces of puzzle

I was in Japan when the huge earthquake and tsunami struck in 2011, and for weeks afterwards the ground moved like when you're on a boat, in addition to the aftershocks that were coming through. People were taking travel sickness tablets in their homes. It made the idea of floating plates crystal clear to me- it was like being on a ferry.
