    Need advice on my accent

I have a thick slavic accent and would like to get rid of it or reduce it. I appreciate any advice on how I can achieve my goal, but even if you have nothing to say in particular feel free to simply rate it on the scale from 1 to 10 or say what you feel about the accent.

Re: Need advice on my accent

Having listened to your recording, I don't think that you have a particularly "thick slavic accent", and I wouldn't worry about trying to reduce it. The important thing is that you spoke fluently and expressively, and I was able to understand every word you said. I haven't lived in Scotland for more than 40 years, but my accent is still unmistakably that of a Highland Scot. Be proud of your heritage!
I'm not a teacher of English, but I have spoken it for (almost) all of my life....
