Can you say: I've sofa surfed plenty. VS I've sofa surfed plenty of times.

    Can you say:

    I've sofa surfed plenty.

    VS

I've sofa surfed plenty of times.

    Are both okay?

What are you surfing? TV channels? The internet? Ocean waves via a computer reality app? Browsing couch catalogues?

Isn't sofa surfing or couch surfing a thing in other countries?

    Can you say:

    I've sofa surfed plenty.

    VS

I've sofa surfed plenty of times.

    and

    Can you say:

    I've couch surfed plenty.

    VS

I've couch surfed plenty of times.

    Are both okay?

You could probably say all those things, but if you said them to me, I wouldn't know what you were talking about.

My friend told me that I could sleep on her couch and I say:

    Can you say:

    I've sofa surfed plenty.

    VS

I've sofa surfed plenty of times.

    and

    Can you say:

    I've couch surfed plenty.

    VS

I've couch surfed plenty of times.

    None of these would work?

I only know it as "couch surfing". I've never surfed but my couch has been surfed a couple of times.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

So, the right way to say it is:

I've couch surfed plenty of times.

I would probably hyphenate it - "couch-surfed". In BrE, we'd probably say "lots of times". "Plenty" is usually used to mean "ample/enough".

    I've couch-surfed lots of times.
    I've couch-surfed many times.
