    comply with our request

    Does "comply with my request" mean accept my request?

    Is the below sentence correct?

    I requested them to issue the certificate early but they did not comply with my request.

    (I just wrote this sentence on my own)

    Your sentence is correct.

    It means 'They did not do what I asked them to do'.
