    breaking words to sound

I am looking.for a website teaching me how to break the words into a few parts in order to sound the whole word.

    eg book (b - oo - k)

    date (d - ate)

There are words that I don't know how to break it.
    Can anyone help?
    Many thanks.

Both of your words are one syllable. One does not break them.

Thank you for your kind reply.
I am learning phonics and I would like to divide words according to the sounding patterns of phonics so as to sound the words. That's why I'm asking for websites helping to divide words into parts.
    Thank you.

    Re: breaking words to sound

A quick search found this website: http://jollylearning.co.uk/overview-...jolly-phonics/

There are many others like it which list the phonemes or digraphs used in phonics.
