    Past Perfect Continuous confusion

    I wrote this sentence:
"He had been working as a manager at McDonald's for a year before he worked for Burger King."
Someone corrected my sentence to this:

"He had worked as a manager at McDonald's for a year before he worked for Burger King."
Am I wrong and he's right?

    You are both right.

    There's no difference.

But someone was wrong to correct the original sentence as it's fine.
