    Thumbs down Won't or Doesn't

    1. My car won't start or my car doesn't start.

    2.My legs won't work or my legs doesn't work.

    3.Why won't you go first or why don't you go first.
    I am confused of which one to use. pls explain it grammatically.

    Number 1 gives us a choice of two sentences. In either case your car won't start. Number two gives us a choice between a sentence that is grammatical and one that isn't. Number three gives us a choice between two sentences that are grammatical.
