Make the time or hours up?

    Hey there,

Can I say make the time OR hours up if I ask for a day off from work and email my supervisor that I am going to take off on an exam date and will make the work hours up. Since there is a certain amount of time for my work hours per week so I just want to mention that the hours will be made up another day.

    Thanks,

Yes — you can use either.
