    has/had got what you needed

    "You has/had got what you needed"
    Which one should I say, has/had?
    Should I use "had" just because "needed" is a past tense.

    The appropriate auxiliary verb will depend on context. But it will never be "has". It must be "you have" or "you had".

    Not necessarily- if the person still has it, then the present perfect makes sense.
