"Shall" is the appropriate answer to this context

To my point of view, shall can be used only in this exceptional case
with the subject pronoun better than will which is preferably used other subject pronouns eccept we. Ipersonally prefer using should inthis case instead. thank you very much.

You suggest using 'should', which is fine- in American English, it has largely replaced 'shall', but 'shall' is often used in such questions in British English.
