    correct or not

    Hi,
I want to ask a few questions to write an essay, and I need help.
    my questions are:
1- Can we say (he is getting older) and if so, what is the difference between saying this or (he is getting old)?
2- Is it (them) or (themselves) in this sentence (They are harming every living creature on earth including (them/ themselves)?
3- Do we say ( it damaged most Asia) or (it damaged most of Asia)?
4- Can we say ( a special kind of gifts which are toys and candies)?
5- Can we say ( many institutions were established, and this might have been a good start for,,,)? my question is about ( this might have been).
6- Can we say (the homes of animals)?
7- Can we say (mother nature serves a lot for us and we shouldn't react on it badly)?
8- Can we say ( we should build our homes from rock and not wood)?
9- What is the difference between saying that something is ( made of) or ( made out of)?
10 Which one is correct in this sentence them or themselves? ( all the bad activities humans do reflect to them/ themselves)
I really hope someone answers me because this is the first time I use this website for such thing.
    Thanks.

    Re: correct or not

And instead of brackets, you need to use inverted commas.

    Re: correct or not

In AmE, that would be "And instead of parentheses, you need to use quotation marks."
