    Hi,
Could you point out any mistake of this sentence?

"Being able to understand the value of money, the way the economic system works and to interpret financial news and its implications is a virtue"

It needs some punctuation and some repeated words. Think about it... (And to help you on your way, you could do some research on parallelism.)

To say frankly, I collected this sentence from an essay, ban 7.5. As I saw this, I just couldn't get the grammar used within the sentence. So I needed you help. I appreciate Bob's suggestion. But I am quite weak to think of necessities that should be included in the sentence and. I have no idea about "Parallelism". I just checked it in the dictionary and got the meaning.

    This is a virtue:
    • Being able to understand the value of money and the way the economic system works
    • Being able to interpret financial news and its implications
If this comes from a model essay, shame on the publisher. You can't just take a two-part list like this and concatenate it into a list of 3 or 4.,

    Sorry, batteriy's dying.

That sentence needs to be made into two or three shorter sentences. (Concatenate? That hurts my head. ) Here's a start:

Understanding the value of money is a virtue. Being able to understand the way the economic system works is also a virtue. And being able to interpret financial news and its implications is also a virtue.

I think it's a weird thing to say. But phrased that way at least the reader can understand what you are saying. (You are saying that all those things are virtues.)
