    Thumbs down Future tense or present tense

    I was watching a tv program on net geo tv where I have found this subtitle ''My friend Robin helps me make this video" I can't understand what is the meaning of this sentence.Does it express future meaning or present meaning? can we use future sentences without shall or will?

    I find the subtitle unnatural. I would have expected to say "My friend Robin helped​ me make this video".
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    It was a simple mistake. It should have said "helped me."
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
