    Voice is hearable

    Hi guys,

    Please check.

If we are talking to someone over the phone and we are unable to listen the person properly. So we say please raise the volume of your phone and if after doing so we can hear the person but still the volume is not that clear. Can we say "Your voice is not very clear but now it is understandable" or "hearable"?

Can we also say "Its been over 15 minutes since I have been on hold" or "I have held line"?

'It has been over 15 minutes since I was put on hold' should be understandable.

    Re: Voice is hearable

No, we wouldn't use "since" with "have been".

I have been on hold for over fifteen minutes.
It's over fifteen minutes since I was put on hold.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
