Should I use 'to' or 'for' in the sentence?

Hi all, I am confused of using 'for' and 'to'. Can anyone tell me what should I use in the following sentences?

A.) Can you explain to/for me what it is?
B.) Can you re-send the email to/for me?

I think both can also be used.

Speaking as a learner, I would simply follow the dictionary ── use 'to' in both sentences.

I would use "to" in both cases.

You could say 'Can you re-send the mail for me?' if you wanted somebody to send it to somebody else on your behalf.
