Need vs need to! what's the difference between two words?

    Hi all
    I need an apple.
    I need to an apple.

Which one is correct? And why?
What's the meaning when I'm using "need to"?

    Thank you for your advice!

Polyester, do you know how to decide when to use "a" and when to use "an"?
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

You wrote "a apple" twice in your first post.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
