    cuckcoo's nest

    Does this refer to a mental hospital? And does this whole sentence mean "something is driving me crazy"? Does "cuckcoo" alone mean "a crazy person"?

    I don't think psychiatric hospitals are generally referred to as "cuckoo's nests".

    Of course, it isn't nice to refer to the mentally ill with these types of words, but it happens.

    Note the correct spelling of "cuckoo".
