I said this to someone in my language class:

Can a native speaker please chime in? Thanks!

One of the teachers reprimanded me for being rude. Can someone please clarify how in the world was I being rude?

    Thank you!

Forums are open places for discussion. Simply ignoring comments by non-native speakers and asking for native speakers only is insulting. There are many non-native speakers here who are as good as any native speaker and many more who have a lot to offer. I am closing this thread too.
