a little about "to" and "throught"

The store are opened on monday to friday.
The store are opened on monday through friday.
In both sentences whether both to and through are the same meaning or not?

Re: a little about "to" and "throught"

First, "Monday" and "Friday" should be capitalized.

Second, "store" is a singular noun that takes a singular verb.

"The store is open Monday to/through Friday" is correct.

Re: a little about "to" and "throught"

Note that this use of 'through' is not used in Br. English. Sometimes, to reinforce a 'to', we add a 'through' first:

The phone lines are manned during working hours from Monday to Friday.
The phone lines are manned 24 hours a day, from first thing Monday right through to last thing on Friday.
