    outcome statements

What does this " outcome statements " mean? statements made by companies for their product sales success or by customers?

106)Companies that take an outcome-driven approach to innovation know that although outcome statements are stable over time, once an outcome is satisfied, it no longer represents an opportunity for improvement. (①) Messages that continue to promote the same selling point of a product will lose their resonance with customers. (②) This means that a company’s messaging and communication strategies must change over time in order to remain effective. (③) It fails to connect any other advantages the product may have with the remaining underserved outcomes and, therefore, no longer communicates the true value of the product to the customer. (④) Because value migrates, innovation must be dynamic—and so must messaging. (⑤) Holding on to a message that no longer resonates will only slow sales and growth.

    Re: outcome statements

Maybe "outcome statements" means "the result of promotion success".
