    Verb Tenses

Sentence: I was taught that anything that helps me enters the meditative state, then it is a buddhist practice.

Does "enters" need an "s"? I am confused because I think "helps" is already the verb. I don't know if "me (subject) enters the meditative state" is a clause... please help.... I always get confused by this...

    Many thanks!

    Re: Verb Tenses

    not a teacher

Where there are two verbs, the second verb should be an infinitive i.e. 'enter'.

    Re: Verb Tenses

'Helps me enter' = 'helps me to enter', 'to' is optional, according to http://www.ldoceonline.com/dictionary/help_1

    Not a teacher.
