Can I use "on" in the following sentence? "She came in on Sunday morning." Is it correct or not? Can someone explain it? Please note the corrections I've made in your post. The pronoun "I" and days of the week are always capitalized. A question ends with a question mark. Also note corrected spacing and spelling.

We use "on" when we refer to a specific day or date. It is often omitted when we talk about a day of the week.

    Re: came in

    not a teacher

I don't have any problem with "She came in on Sunday morning". As riquecohen says, the "on" is often omitted, but I'm sure I usually include it and it's what I hear around me. It may be a regional difference. "She came in four days ago" is fine.
