    She thanks Tom that he told her about the website

    'She thanks Tom that he told her about the website'

    Is the sentence correct? Some of you answered that it is wrong.

    (I know, "She thanks Tom for telling her about the website" is a correct one. )

    However, I found these sentences below in Google, and

    in those ones,

    'thank somebody that ~ ' is used.

    Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

    Thank you that I heard you.

    I thank God that I am not like the other

    Are the sentences correct? (They are used a lot in the Bible..so, I guess they are correct)

    Then, is the sentence 'She thanks Tom that he told her about the website' correct or not?

    If it is still wrong, what's the difference between the red sentence, and the blue ones?
