    What would you do if you can't use electricity?

    Are these sentence correct?


    What would you do if there were not electricity?
    (I know 'there were no electricity' is correct)

    What would you do if you can't use electricity?

    I would say 'if there were not any electricity'.

    As you know, 'if there were no electricity' is correct.

    Stick to that — your alternatives are unnatural.
