    Getting ansi?

Does anyone know the origin and original intent/useage of the expression "getting ansi" ?

    Re: Getting ansi?

I think the word you mean is "antsy", meaning unsettled or uneasy about something.
It seems to derive from ants, the small insects, possibly via the phrase "he has ants in his pants" which has a similar meaning.
    Hope this helps.
