My 5 months old baby's milk intake getting decreased.

My 5 months old baby's milk intake getting decreased. Is this the sign he is ready for solid food?
My 5 months old baby's milk intake has been decreased. Is this the sign he is ready for solid food?

We use getting or has been in sentences above?

Do we use "getting" or "has been" in the sentences above?
Neither. See my amendments to your post and note the correct way to ask a question.

Incidentally, I'd say it wasn't a sign that he's ready for solid food, but what do I know? It's 45 years since I had a 5-month-old baby.
