    comma issues

    Hello all,

1- Almeida interviewed a woman named Jeanine(,) who wanted a new job.

2- People teased and challenged each other(,) and made a plan to see a movie.

3- She wanted to talk to the only son of Michael(,) who has just dropped out of school.

I tried to write three sentences, but I cannot determine to put commas. I think sentences 1 does not require a comma after Jeaninne. In sentence 2, it requires. And finally, sentence 3 does not, either.

I feel a little bit confused. What do you think?

    Thanks a lot!

    Re: comma issues

I agree with you, only No. 2 needs the pause.

    Re: comma issues

I would place a comma in both 1 and 3.
