I have a letter-writing question. As a business college graduate (of MANY years ago) I was taught by my English prof. that we are to never say "enclosed please find" but should rather state "enclosed is." As assistant to my Senior Pastor, I type many of his letters, and he wants to know why he can't say "enclosed please find." I don't have an answer, except to say that is what I was taught! Is this a rule, or is "enclosed please find" actually acceptable?
